Wow, that's crazy, $23,000!!! You are definitely going the right route then. That 01' looks sweet, I have Screw envy, wish I could have swung the cost of one when I bought my 02' Scab. Anyway, good luck with it all man. It's good that you can do install\remove your own lift, I paid to get mine done.. didn't trust myself enough to do it.

You could buy your truck all day long for less than $23,000. This is a great time to be buying new or used trucks. You might try negotiating a better deal with them before you turn it in. They'd rather sell it to you than take it back. Just be willing to walk away and they'll deal.

Or just start watching cars.com or craigslist for the type of truck you want. You'll find it. I wanted a '01-'03 Supercrew Lariat this summer, and I just waited till I found the right one. One I looked at was a mile from my house! But the one I bought was 100 miles away at a Ford dealer. It's like new. I spent $14k on it, but I still think I found the best one out there.
