Thanks guys. Ive never seen a chrome set of Welds on the east coast ever so i knew i had to have them.. funny story on them actually..

A buddy of mine works at carmax, he over sees all the wholesale and movement of vehicles, etc. One night he sent me a pic from the front of a 03 Screw.. saying it was from Cali and one of the biggest trucks hes ever seen. A month or so later, the dealer/shop that specializes in lifted trucks gets the same truck. I finally got to check it out in person, absolutely gorgeous truck. Powder coated suspension parts, 20x14 Kmc diesels etcetc. It had one of the west coast brand lifts (showoff, full throttle, whiplash) Apparently at some point in its west coast life it was a show truck, and the $25k asking price didnt deny that fact. Two months later the same dealer has a craigslist add for some rare chrome welds.. i inquire.. turns out Weld never distributed chrome plated wheels to the east coast (well, thats what i was told, and all ive ever seen are polished aluminum welds) and the only reason they made it here was because they came of a showtruck they just sold..

Haven't posted for a while. Had both my trucks fully detailed and snapped some pics. Sorry of the iPhone quality pictures. My camera's battery was dead. Only thing I've done to my F150 is take the Delta toolbox off.

Sorry my F250 is photo bombing lol

Replaced the stock leaf springs and AAL for some Skyjacker 5" lifting springs and what a difference in ride quality! From a recent camping trip and exploring on the Continental Divide

And my favorite from my buddy in the Jeep in front of me. Think Friday the 13th (for dramatic effect here's the theme http://campblood.shiversofhorror.com/MP3/Pt2Theme2.mp3 ) no matter how the Jeep tries to get away the Ford is right there. "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear"

Anyone have an F-150 painted with Smoky Granite Mica? I'm planning on getting mine painted hopefully before the end of the year and want that color. Would help if I could see what it should look like before I do.

Install was easy, only problem I had was the wiring they came with was to short. Just went ahead and extended them myself. Not sure if anyone else has had that problem?
