This build up is pretty damn amazing.
I bookmarked it, seeing as I haven't had time to read it all at once.
But after the 3 days it's taken me to get it through it, all i can say is damn!
Defiantly inspirational.
Makes me want to do more to my own!

S@w

Been annoyed to **** so havnt posted in awhile.

Update/True Story:

Just a few weeks ago I had gotten off the hwy to go home. I needed to go to the grocery store before heading home so I went to the local Metro close to my house. I noticed a van tailing me as I pulled into the plaza - nothing new I get people acting retarded around me all the time - so I break checked him a few times. Now high-beaming me and getting my attention Im wondering wth this fool wants. He pulls beside me and says:

"Bro, you lost your stuff"
"Excuse me?" I replied...
"Your stuff, its all over the road"
"Umm what? - what you talking about?"
"Your stuff is on the road, but not here.. back at the hwy exit."

Soooo I go to my tailgate - to find it open... I screamed 'thanks' and took off saying misc other cursewords... I get to the intersection to find 1 box closed in the middle of the road, those other box opened and things all over the intersection. I run and gather my things and put them in the bed of the truck to realise.. wait... this is only 2 boxes..

****ty part? I have 2 of 5 boxes...

****tier part? I just got off the Hwy... meaning those boxes are anywhere form my work to my home.. which is cities apart.

Even ****tier part? Those boxes contained my complete supercharger kit which I was going to the shop to install within days and only reason they were in the truck to begin with.

Yay for modifying... whats a couple grand right?

... good thing - I have the supercharger, but am back at square one for sourcing out my parts to get it installed. From a complete - I basically just have my charger and a few misc peices form the one box I had. So looks like its going to be a season before I do the install.

And no - not doing turbo.. its a supercharger Im doing - obviously. Was wanting to simply get it installed and take pics - as I had planned, but will be having to wait a bit longer.

Updates:
Switched out cracked foglight lenses.
-do alot of hwy driving, new lenses were cracked to **** - time for replacements
Replaced 8000k HID headlights/fogs with 6000k.
-wanted better output, the difference is better with it being a crisper white with a tinge of blue vs alot of blue. However lightoutput was always amazing with having the HD headlight and the fogs all with HIDs.
Dropped from insurance due to heavy modding - yay to premium rates now.
-no comments, no one likes modded vehicles.
Aux reverse lights
- mounted a driving light kit under the bed to provide more aux lighting when reversing. Tinted windows+Longbed = crappy lighting. I do however have to remount them in a better location. They are hidden yes, but the exhaust tips are covering alot of output... pics soon.
Baby seat.
-with my baby being 11months old I have gotten my baby seat reupholstered to match the interior of the truck... hardly notifce its there.

Things discussed in the thread by others:
PTM Handles/Mirrors
-Mirrors are staying black, I find they flow very well with the tint and are staying that way. The handles I am in debate about, as much as I know they will look good - the trucks over all scheme isnt being hurt by simple handles. I also want contrast and dont want an overly white truck. I think because of the stripes it doesnt seem to throw off the vehicle. I dont want to much white - Ive seen some trucks and not a fan.

Thinking about.:
09 emblems
-definetly prefer them over my 04 emblems, would match truck better imo
Boost
-still in the works, back to sourcing out parts
Wheels
-next season and or over winter these are coming, something clean, something simple - and no not l wheels
Brakes
-with added power comes added stopping power. it is also a heavy truck to begin with and I need better stopping power period. Big brake kit and or slotted/crossdrilled rotors and some hawk pads possibly - same setup I had on my honda.
PTM Tonneau Cover
-I use the truck - as a truck. I haul material, Drywall, everything and anything. This isnt a car - use it for what it is. With that being said my tri-fecta folding cover works like a charm... only downfall is I love the look of a PTM solid cover... obviously the stripes would continue on it as well - but am worried about functionality. I laugh every tie i see someone will a sold cover hauling the simplest load.
Seats
-I miss my recaros I had in my past vehicle... hmmm

I will post pics of what I have soon... for now here is some night shots.

So did you turn around to go find any of those other boxes?

Would be someones lucky day to find supercharger parts laying in the road. I remember almost hitting a chain saw one time. I stopped to get it out of the road so no one else would hit it, and I picked it up only to find that it was a really nice chain saw. I still have it, and use it occasionally

Sorry to hear about the parts!!!

The truck looks great on the exterior!!
I really dig the sticker, it stands out even the black on black.
I'm curious on how you did that lol... or is it just same black sticker, on another black??
The 6K lights is awesome trust me, and with those HD lights those will really show!
BTW the truck up to now still looks awesome... good luck on your modifications!
