of course - love being different. being a a 98, being a long bed was part of the plan... far too many people doing the same thing - its hard to be original now adays... thus rare parts and doing things to set yourself apart...

cant wait for boost...

Sorry if you have mentioned this Grafix, but are you planning on a custom wheel/tire package at all?

Are you looking to get rid of the lightning lights?

You know, I've been following this thread for a while now...and I think it's safe to assume that you're probably the only person I dont have worry to about putting cheesy overkill rims on your truck. From what I've seen so far..perfectly balanced..not overdone and not undercooked..just right.

-congrats sir, because not many accomplish that task.

Right now.. my main concern is getting boost.. installed, and tuned...

But its not a huge huge goal for me right this second to get wheels - sure its something I am wanting but it can wait a tad longer. Currently running over sized tires and plenty of rubber on them almost new... once I smoke these off I will consider a wheel package. But i will be glad to be running at a proper wheel size where the truck will sit even lower - and regain what ive lost from going with larger tires.

Lightning headlights are already sold.. was offered a price couldnt refuse.
however I have my TYC replica L headlights... shoot me a price - they look identical and are oe quality... i only purchased them as i swapped them on for when i went on road trips.

appreciated - thanks...

Wheels i am very picky on.. and am not a fan of cheesy rims either. I tend so spend plenty of time choosing anything for my truck before i go ahead on it. Rims will be no exception and will compliment the truck nicely without being overkill no doubt. Oh....and no i am not getting lighting rims.

Currently im even unsure of size. unsure if i even want to go to a 20" or not.. (imo anything larger then 20" for this gen truck looks dumb) with boost im unsure if im wanting to sacrifice weight and extra rubber for look of a bigger wheel.. we see - when that time comes.

I agree i think they should do alternating months of 97-03 and 04-08 to help level the playing field some

Boost is here, but no teaser pics yet - but trust me its in my garage in 3 boxes... just waiting to clean up some parts before I take pics...

For now more go go parts...

16" Dual Electric Fan Setup... 2500cfm which is more then enough up here in Ontario, no 100degree weather here. Great price... I'm sure it will free up some extra hp.. but with the boost im wanting more engine room and less clutter.

Just a few shots of the truck and my buddies gsx-r 1000 i sponsor...
My company had 21 sponsored cars and my one sponsored main bike there. Few other buddies came to visit later in the day and we ended up with about 7-10 bikes there. The showing for my company and cars was smaller - was a smaller show all together so didnt bring the entire lineup. At larger shows I bring about 50 sponsored cars/trucks... last show I was at I had all 50 bikes Ive done work on.

Truck took home nothing - which i could care less for.. I use it for advertising of my company not for show purposes... it was mainly there to haul the 2 10x10 tents, tables, colers, and everything else for the booth...

he took home first place bike for the show. I wrapped all the silver pieces of the bike in flat black vinyl, and did the misc club logos and such on the bike... the logo is crazy detail and its not printed vinly all picked and weaved.

i still need a proper photoshoot - but we've been getting nothing but rain.

im also getting tired of my emblems... Im debating getting 09+ emblems... they're def better imo.

and boost pics once i have time to clean / paint the parts

if you get the new emblems, i would like to know how easy they are to install because I've been wanting to do the same thing for a while...I've heard the holes dont line up but they look sooooo good I'm willing to try!!

So is this "boost" ready to install? Or do you just have a few pieces and will have to modify quite a bit? Never found a "kit" for the 4.2s...
