World’s Largest All-Ford Weekend June 1-3
Carlisle Ford Nationals to feature over 3,000 Fords, plus special guests including Dave Kindig of Bitchin’ Rides.
Carlisle, Pennsylvania, is where you’ll want to be June 1-3 for the world’s largest all-Ford themed weekend. The Carlisle Ford Nationals will feature over 3,000 Fords spanning the history of the brand!. Happening at the Carlisle Pennsylvania Fairgrounds, the massive auto show includes trucks; new and classic cars; plus concepts and custom builds. Attendees will also enjoy a burnout competition, autocross, giveaways, the famous Ford-centric swap meet, and the “Ms. Carlisle Ford Nationals competition.” Plus, this year features some very impressive guest stars from the automotive community, including Dave Kindig of Bitchin’ Rides. But wait…it gets even better!
The weekend culminates with a huge display of Ford trucks of every type rolling through downtown Carlisle on Saturday night for a special Ford trucks-only parade!
Displays at the Carlisle Ford Nationals include “50 Years of the Cobra Jet,” “50 Years of the Torino,” “50 years of the GT500KR,” and “20 years of the Focus,” plus a special Bullitt Mustang celebration, a Ford tractor display, and the fourth annual Ford Nationals Select cars showcase.
Ford is bringing the all-new California Special Mustang, Ranger, Bullitt Mustang, Ford GT, and Edge ST to the show, plus attendees will be able try out one of the new cars at The Ford Go Further Ride & Drive Experience at the neighboring Carlisle Expo Center.
In addition to Dave Kindig, additional special guests at this year’s event include Steve Saleen, who returns with his biggest footprint ever of Saleen Mustangs. Other guests for the weekend include legendary Ford drag racer Al Joniec and author Charles R. Morris (Total Performers: Ford Drag Racing in the 1960s), plus groups from Ford Performance, Roush, and Shelby will have a commanding grip on the always-growing midway.
Much like the show itself, the massive Ford-centric swap meet at the Carlisle Ford Nationals is also the world’s largest of its type. Whether you’re looking for something new, vintage or somewhere in between, the swap meet, car corral, and the “Manufacturers Midway” offer the best in parts-buying.
