If you’re in search of the most intimidating truck on the road, we might just have the Super Duty for you.

As is, from the factory floor, Ford’s Super Duty is already a tough looking truck. Drive one, and you’ll see what we mean. Folks just tend to get out of your way when you’re driving something as menacing as these heavy duty haulers. But as awesome as a stock Super Duty looks, it doesn’t stop a number of aftermarket shops from making them even badder. And among those shops, Kelderman Manufacturing might just make the baddest Super Dutys of all.

The Oskaloosa, Iowa based shop has been in the business of toying around with both agricultural and automotive products for 45 years now. Over that time, they’ve evolved into a heavy duty truck specialist, offering up everything from lift kits to entire builds. And the results, well, they speak for themselves. Just take the incredible F-450 Platinum build highlighted in the video above, for example.

Kelderman began by installing their own 5-6″ air suspension lift kit, which in itself is a work of art. Then they added Kelderman Alpha Series bumpers and grille, Fox 2.0 reservoir shocks, American Force wheels, and Toyo tires. Rigid and Eco-Tint lighting adds some serious brightness to the blacked out ride, which has had all the chrome removed for a sinister look. In the case of this particular truck, customer requested orange accents help break things up a little.

And this is just one of many custom built rides to come out of Kelderman’s stable. Each one totally unique and equally awesome. Even if you don’t opt for a dually, we’d say you’re not losing much in terms of intimidation. Feel free to peruse their gallery of project vehicles and you’ll see what we mean. Especially if you’re the type of person who likes their trucks to be as big and menacing as possible.
