Crazy Clip o’ the Week: F-150 Owner Takes Horse On a Joyride

This clearly isn’t the right way to transport a horse, but it proves that the F-150 is an extremely handy vehicle in a pinch.
The Ford F-150 is a pickup truck that’s known for being able to tackle any job, whether that includes towing an incredible amount of cargo or go off-roading, while ensuring that passengers are comfortable, which is a tough balance to strike. Regardless of the job, the F-150 is ready, willing to put its best foot forward, even when the owner doesn’t have the right equipment for the job.

Ford Truck Enthusiasts tracked down a video of a F-150 owner driving his pickup truck with a living horse standing in the back of it. While we’ve seen some crazy things in the past, we’ve never seen someone put a horse in their truck’s bed and drive around town.
The video was apparently captured in Oklahoma, despite the license plate that appears to have Texas written on it. Either way, the driver seems to have put a few pieces of fencing together to protect the poor animal or to deter it from moving around in the bed.

It doesn’t take a genius to know that this isn’t the best way to transport a horse, but it does reveal that the F-150 can handle sticky situations in a pinch. While we hope the majority of owners would never put a horse into their pickup truck’s bed, it’s nice to know that they could if they really needed to.
