GoodYear GT II tires??? HELP!

I'm just wondering what you guys think about the Good Year GT II tire. I want to get 275 45 R20.
Do any of you have it. How does it hold up? Is it a nice riding tire or what. I am a bit timid about buying them because of the great deal they are on for. The local shop I am buying my rims from
(buying a set of Panthers M# EMR-240 -jUICE) Told me they would sell me the tires for cost($170.00 each Canadian dollar) The closest Price I could find to that was BF Goodrich for $900. each.
Any advice would be helpful
Tanks!

I have them on for about 3 months now. The ride is nice little ruff sometimes but good. Also the sidewalls do not flex at all it seems. Helps alot when cornering.

I've also been wondering how the new ones are, I have the older GT-II's on my factory 17's. If you live in a heavily populated area, the old design doesn't do well at all on traction. Too much oil on the surface streets. Dry handling is decent, and ride is good, however. They are also TEN times quieter than the Yokahamas I had before! How much did they improve the design and compound from the older ones?? I'm considering a set of them again for my 20's(when I get them),,,,,98

They don't last worth *$#@. Get a nicer set that will last you 25000 miles or more.

Hmmm??

It looks like you are getting some mixed responses. I have had Eagle GT II's on 5 different trucks so far. The last two sets are 275/45/20, and 285/50/20. I put a lot of hard miles on my trucks, and have not had any trouble with these tires. They handle well, do not ride any stiffer than any other tire I have owned, and I haven't had any trouble in wet weather. If I have any complaint at all, it would be that they sing on certain road surfaces. For the price, I can live with the noise. Now if they would only make them in a 22...

every one is going to have mixed opinions about certain things. i have the 275/45/20's for about 2 months now. so far so good. rough riding and decent looking. they are ok, and that's about it. if you have the money i would go for some toyo proxes, now those are tight! i didn't have the cash flow for nicer tires, oh well.

Thumbs down

Here's my input:

They suck!! Wear out fast. Have terrible, terrible traction in the rain. The only way that I'll own another set is if some cop twists my arm.. or if they were free..

My 00 HD came with Good year Eagle GTII's p275/45R20's. I think they ride great. I also have 20K miles on them, and are holding up just fine. I'll get 40-50K miles out of them before i'll need a new set. Don't have any traction issues either.

LeanNCut LoL, well you know what i mean. I don't think they are really slippery in the rain and stuff, unless i want them to be . I can spin em with no problem, but i have driven the truck in the truck in the snow a few times, and they are aight if you need to drive somewhere. I like the gtII's. Its what i'm gonna get when i need new ones. Just trying to help the guy out
