Hey Guys,

I have a 99 F-150 with 1439 eagle wheels and BFG AT KOs. Does anybody have a trick to getting the raised white letters white again.

Thanks

There is may ways to get them white again. Usually some soap and water with a stiff brush will work. Or you could pick up something at the auto parts store for white walls. I don't like to use anything too stong on the rubber.

Thumbs up

I steal an SOS pad from under the kitchen sink.
One will do all four before it's kaput.
My wife thinks I'm helping her with the dishes so, she keeps on buying them.

Raoul-
That isn't what I thought that you were going to say about that with "Dirty Letters"....
I just use a bucket of water, a stiff brush with nylon bristles, and elbow greese to get them clean.

I use Bleach White. Available at Auto Zone/Parts America.
Spray it on, let soak for a few minutes, then scrub.

WARNING: Only apply if the wheel is not hot.

If they are real dirty, or not so much. I use some wet stealwool, You don't need to press hard and it works well.

I just used Westleys Bleach White today. The truck and tires where covered in salt and dirt. They came out pretty good for 20K miles. See pic below. I need to get some real tires some day...
