275/65/18 vs 275/70 18

i got a 2" level with add a leaf. was going to do 34" or 33" tire.after reading everything on gears,i have 3.31, now im afraid to go with the 34s so now leaning toward 33s.but now im wondering if a 275 65 18 duratrac would look good with this level.its the same as my stock tire size so wouldnt lose as much because of gearing.my truck has six speed tranny with 5.4L engine.will the 33s dog it that much to make a big difference? will i see that much of performance lose between the 32s to the 33s?

did you not ask the same question five threads down?

https://www.f150online.com/forums/wh...grapplers.html

this is a picture of my truck. 2 inch level on 275/70/18 so about a 33.5 imo it looks great with the level. as far as gearing i wouldnt be concerned until you get in the 35 range. if you need more pictures let me know

If the original are 275/70R18 and you go with 275/65R18, you will have a speedometer reading of 6.5% too fast at 60mph.

my tires are a 275/70-18 which is about a 33.5x11x18 they fill out the wheel well slightly better than my old 33s imo and only being 11 inches wide they dont really throw anything on the side of the truck. let me know if you have any more questions! i may even have some pics of my 33s on the truck somewhere...

I have the same stock setup with 2" AS and 3" rear block kit. Debating on what to do with tires and rims. I noticed you have different rims. What kind you went with? How is ride quality after tire and rim change?

18" to 17" change over

Greetings to all and Happy New year:
This is my first post as I just signed up. I don't mean to cut in but you all seem to know the answer to the question I am about to ask.

I have a 2010 stx 4x2 with 265/60/18 tires and was given a set of 235/75/17 tires and wheels and want to put them on for the winter. So far from what I have read , it is OK.. HELP, I am not sure.

Thanks

Going from stock 275/65/18 to 275/70/18 you will be fine no gearing needed. Speedo didn't really change if any maybe 1 mph difference but using gps and my speedo were pretty much the same.
