I just bought a set of 305/45-22 nitto tires and will be getting them mounted on my rims next week. I was wanting to know just how good they will fit. They look huge next to my stock tires. Will there be any rubbing or clearance issues that I may incounter. If so, what is the fix to it? Will get pictures of the tires soon. Oh yeah! The rims are 22x9.5 BOSS rims. The tires are going on a 98 ford f150 ext. cab 2wd

I got the tires and rims put on today. All my worries finally went away. I will get some pics posted soon as I can.

 

I got the boss 304 chrome in 22's. 305/40/22 pirelli's

 

I got the BOSS 304's also with Nitto 305/45-22. That is a good looking rim to me. They ride better than I thought they would.

Sweeet, I'm eager to see some pics too! I'd like to see your fitment as I'm considering something similar, a taller tire on a smaller wheel - 305/50/20's, because of the pothole situation here in Hawaii. I'd also like to haul stuff and climb curbs from time to time.
