everyones opinion on tires

I know that there are probably as many opinions on tires as there are makes and models, but if you guys had to pick the best all around tire for 75% highway and 25% off road what would you guys pick? Something that is available in 285/70/17 preferably. thanks

Thumbs up Theres two i really like

Nitto Terra Grappler or
BF Goodrich All Terrain KO.
Both of those will get you 50,000 miles no prohlem if you rotate them every 4 or 5,000. Great traction offroad and smooth highway traveling no loud road noise. BFs run a little more though. Great looking as well

I agree with wandell's choices, but would throw the Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor's in the ring, in my opinion perfect for you're criteria.

I love the BFG AT's but I'm a sucker for a 50,000 mile raised white letter.

Hey Wandell, how do I make my sig pic smaller, I don't mean to be obnoxious with the big pic I just don't know how to make it any smaller without having it a thumbnail.

Thanks.

Thanks for the comment. I guess if my large sig bothers anyone they can tell me how to change it.

B-F-G's!!! You can't go wrong with this tire if your worried about performance. And plus...they're probably the best looking tire out there in my opinion

Thumbs up

BF Goodrich All-Terrain TA KO tires are GREAT, long-lasting, road-gripping, off-road capable tires. Oh and did I mention they look awesome?

I had them on my Ranger EDGE and loved those tires. I wish they would look good on a lowered truck

BFG A/Ts
I know of people getting 70k or more miles out of em
theres a guy that works for us that has them on a 03 f250 4x4
he has 67k miles on them & they still have about 50% tread on them, but he rotates & balances them every 3500 miles
