Tire Pressure???

I have LT285/65/18 Nitto Grapplers (load range E) on 18inch Moto 700's (on the tire it says 80 max psi with no recommended psi). Im currently running them at 35 psi becasue that is what the sticker says in the door frame, but i do get a small bulge in the side wall. Am i running these tires to low? I only use the truck as a day to day driver. What should I keep the psi at to have the best wear.

I have about 55 psi and it seems to be doing very well. I know the door says 35 psi but like you said, it seems to have a pretty good sized bulge.

It says 35 on the door because the old tires were P series tires. You have load range E LT tires. Get them up to about 50. Then check for abnormal wear and raise or lower the pressure as needed. I would not go lower than about 46.

I would start at 50. If you wear on the outside of the tire, then you will have to add more. I doubt that will happen though as I ran a set of BFG ATs load range E, max psi 80, on an F150 for 40k miles and still had tread left and no abnormal wear. That 35 is too low for any LT series tire on an F150 and could be dangerous, especially on highway driving.

Im running my TGs at 48 right now and might lower it to 45 psi but wont go lower then that. 35 is way to low. I have 325-60-18 and they are LT tires with a D range.

As they are D range, I would suggest 45. I agree that 48 might be a bit high. If you decide to go lower than that, I wouldn't go any lower than about 40-42.

I had them at 55 psi and they were to high with a hard ride. I think I will drop it down to 45. Thanxs

Load range C, try 40. I have OE LR C tires and that is what is on the door sticker. I have found that to work quite well.

Would this apply for procomp xtreme a/t's size 325/50/20 the load range is still the same I'm just not sure if it would be different since the tires are different

A load range E is a load range E. You will find that of a particular load range, assuming LT tires, that the carrying ability of the tire is the same across manufacturers and sizes. There are even higher load ranges, but as even a LR E is overkill, they really wouldn't ever be needed.
