7 lug to 6 or 8 lug conversion

Anyone know if this can be done? No point in spending a lot of time and money into it, but something easy? Not liking my wheel choses.

I have looked into it a little. I think you can get five lug stuff thats on like the expedition 3/4 ton axle stuff. Every think i looked at looks like it will bolt up. Roters and drums are the same size. Hubs have the same bolt patern that bolt it to the arms. Not sure if the rear axles have the spline. Just going to take time and lot of money to swop ever thing out. I just bought a set of 7lugs on ebay i have seen a few new ones that are geting better. If you do swop ever thing do a write up to let all the others know.

Which wheels did you get on ebay? What they cost you? I'm looking into having someone make an adapter. Similar to a wheel spacer but changes lug pattern. There are a couple companies that make custom adapters.

I like the first ones better anyway. I've never been into the chrome fanscy wheels. I have black rock crawlers on my jeep, that would be my first choice for wheels. But the first set I like. Thats most likely what I'll go with. Thanks for the help.

I have the 7 lug as well. After research I found.....American Racing, Weld, and Alba all make the seven lug but most are pricey. I found a couple Baja styles as well. Ultra Wheel Co. makes a good one

I think they run $400-450 for 16's.
Seven lug is the only think I hate about my truck!

I have the same problem. '04 scab long box w/7 lug wheels. I don't like ANY of the after market and I think I've looked at just about all of them. Everything looks either too heavy duty or too much "BLING" for me. I just like the stock 6 bolts they put on the f150's. Have thought about the adapter thing but am worried about spacing the wheel out and also how safe they are.

Still looking....
