TPMS question

TPMS question
OK, I swapped out my OEM rims for aftermarket rims - same size. The shop had to cut the bands off and expoxied the sensors onto the wheels. My left front sensor came off setting off the alert. The shop fixed it today and the Alert still shows.
How can I clear this?
Can the TPMS be disabled (Legally)?

There is a reset tool you can get. Costs about $25. And no there is no way to disable the system. To my knowledge, not even illegally.
PS - If you haven't driven anywhere that is more than 20 miles at speeds over 25mph, try it. It may reset itself.

Other possibility is that they got glue in the hole that allows air into the sensor. If that happened, it will need to be replaced. Of course, if they got glue in all the holes, they will be replacing all. The hole if I remember correctly is on the side of the sensor that faces the wheel.

Checked all the sensors again and 1 of them is registering 10 PSI higher than what's in the tire. That must be the problem. It's not the one that came lose. Guess I will go back to 50 PSI and live with the light on. Not spending 300-400 dollars to get new bands and such.....The dealership said just take them off.

I am fighting the same issue with my aftermarket Ultra wheels. For some reason the sensors are coming off the bands. The dealership fixed one and retrained, then the computer said another was off. This is driving me nuts. Ford dealership says the ford wheel is flat and the aftermarket is convex and that is causing the bad to slip and sensor come off?????
