Shouldn't you have asked that question BEFORE you got them?

Not on the older body style. About the largest that will fit on there (without problems) are 265/75R16s or 265/70R17s.

On the new '04-'05s, theyll fit without problems.

33"s WILL fit a stock 1997-2003 truck with the right back spacing. Here a picture of my 01 F-150 with 305/70R16 on it and my 00 Expedition with 285/75R16's on it. Both trucks are stock and the tires don't rub.

Yeah, 285's will fit on the 97-03 F-150 4x2's, but just barely.

I drove the F-150 with the 305's on it for about amonth before I lifted it (I only lifted it because I bought the lift and tires at the same time thinking I needed it) No there isn't a lot of travel with out a lift but the tires will fit and under normal driving conditions tire clearance is fine.

You can go bigger than the 265/75/16 on a 97-03 2wd. Im running 275/65/18 (32.1 inch tall tire) with lots of room at full turn. They are on 18x9 rims.
