What fits with daystar leveling kit?

I have a 2004 F150 4x4 and have just ordered a leveling kit from Daystar and i am having a hard time figuring wheel and tire combos. I have considered 17x9s with 285/70/17s or 33x12.5x17s. And considered 18x9.5s with 325/60/18s. Does anyone have one of these wheel and tire set ups with the leveling kit. If so what backspacing do you have on the wheels. And do you like the ride quality. Any help would be appreciated.

Thumbs up 04/05 F150 Daystar Lift Kit

We are a Ford Dealer in Canada and have done several Daystar kits. We have put BFG Mud Terrains 285/70/17's on all of them. I think any larger and you would have issues with tire rubbing. Minimal but noticable noise increase and the steering is slightly more sensitive. You may also notice some drivetrain slack. Make sure you aim the headlights after. Great ride and handling and really improves the look. Have a pic of our recent "Ranchero Package" If you would like to see. JC

Sure I'd like to see a pic of this truck. I assume this is one with the daystar kit and 285s.

BlkButy at FTW fit 325/60-18 (34x13.50) Nitto Tera Grappler's on 18x9 Eagle Alloys (with 5 inches of backspacing) on his 04 with only a 2.5 inch Daystar leveling kit. He has since added a 3 inch body lift and 325/65-18 (35x13.50) Terra Grapplers. He has a gallary there. Just narrow the search filter down to 2004, lifted, F-150, 4x4, Supercrews.

Great pic JC........I just ordered 285/70/17 BFG A/Ts and 17x9s for mine. They look great on the trucks you guys turn out. I only hope that with the wider wheels and less backspacing that mine don't scrub. Once i get the truck out of my body shop and get all the accessories on it i'll post a pic. Thanks to everyone.

JC ... Do you think that 295/70/17 Nittos would fit on a 2wd? they are .5" taller and wider

How about the S.Crew on 18's ??

Has anyone re-used their 18" rims with aftermarket tires yet? DIsappointing selection of tires out there after a lift....I assume the F150 XL and XLT come with 17" rims, the LAriat/King Ranch with 18" rims, and the FX4 has 17" standard and 18" option??

Anyway....this looks like an interesting option for my 2004 S.Crew but I don't know what to do with the 18's....
