will it fit??

Hey guys, Dave here and new to this also. Just want to know if I put MT 16x8 classic II's on 265/75R16, will I need to do any thing to my truck. It is an 03 4x4 XLT. I would like to leave it alone. But I am being told that I may need to crank up on the torsion bars. Do I??? thanks

No you will not have to crank up the torsion bars. My truck came stock with 265/70/17's. You will be fine to run that package.

No, you won't have to do anything to fit 265's.

If you want to run a 10 inch rim in the future, I'd go with at least a 285/75-16. Also, the 16x10 MT's are not much more than the 16x8's.

Hey just asking what do I need to do if I do put 16x10 MT on 285/75-16. Will I need a lift kit or just adjust the torsion bars or maybe spacers?

265s are probably too narrow for a 10" wheel.

285s on a 10" wheels should look nice, you might run into some problems with the width but I think all you would have to do is a little trimming on the valence.

I ran my 285's on 16x10's before I lifted my truck. All I had to do was trim about 1/2 inch of plastic off the front bumper's lower valance.
