Come out and join us @ Pismo beach June 24th-26th. Should be a great opportunity to have some fun in the sand and put some faces to some members. So mark the date on the calender.

Reservation info:

The state park is actually called Oceano Dunes. Right now sites are going for $10 it looks like. But, I believe they go up to $35 in the summer. You need a reservation for each vehicle and can have up to 8 people per reservation or vehicle. Here is a link to the reservation site:

Info about the Dunes:

Camping is allowed south of Post 2 on the beach and in the open dune area. Vault toilets and chemical toilets are provided, and water-delivery and holding-tank pump-out services are available on the beach. Campsite reservation information can be obtained by calling 1-800-444-7275. Campsites are available by reservation year-round and can be made from 10 days to six months in advance. Reservations are highly recommended (especially for holiday periods) and must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Note: Reservations can be made up to seven months in advance. Sweet! i'm most likely going. trying to talk my friend with another expedition to go. if he can get leave. i need to save up the money since i might be moving around that time and if i am this will be on my stop. it is anyways but now an excuse. haha

I found out its my roommate and good friends bday that weekend but she lived in SLO for a year so I'm hoping to convince her to come down for her bday so I can make it to the dunes...haha. So keep me as tentative and Ill get back to you guys on that.

i cant my gf drive. she almost rolled my expo in glamis on flat ground. that would have been funn to explain. haha

 

Can't wait to bury your 4x2 in the sand. Maybe we can get the airbags to go off and crack your windshield again. That was honestly one of the funniest things I've ever seen. "BOOOM" you could hear it for miles.

 

I'm gonna bring shovels and wood and lots of tow straps...hahaha. Actually with the tires aired down it should be OK with momentum. Basically all dune/prerunner trucks are 2wd. Maybe by then Ill have a posi at least. Or if I get the job I'm interviewing for maybe a 96 bronco or a cc 97-03, 4wd obviously.

O and I'm hoping to keep the carnage at a minimum. I made it though Hollister with nothing more than some slightly roasted tires.hahaha.

 

Am i going to be able to get up with there with a street truck?
