How is this the wrong forum for my question ???? Did I miss something?? This is the v8 section rite? Is my motor not a v8? Is it not new enough to qualify for help?

the old truck guys on this board hang out in the pre 97 section I dont think this is the "wrong" section but you would have better luck posting questions about your truck over there. Glad you got your answers at any rate.

I think I did. After you've hit enough dead ends, you'll listen.

Ok guys, let it lie. I thought the two of you would stop on your own.

There is not really a thing wrong with where you posted your question, but what Jim was saying, maybe a bit bluntly was that you are more likely to get more knowledgeable help in the forum for trucks prior to 1997. The guys that frequent that forum will be more likely to have suggestions for your year. Nothing derogatory about your truck at all.

I understand what you're saying...buttt... To be told its the "WRONG" forum so matter of factly kinda rubs me the wrong way...and then to be told I'm stupid because he was trying to help???? Screw that....its a v8 engine topic in the v8 section!! He should have just went rite on by it instead of calling a new person out on something he knows nothing about!!! I'm starting to see a pattern here

OP pics wouldn't hurt a thing as your description is far from helpful
