Still smelling fuel / verdigris on rail

Still smelling fuel through vents. Had this same problem years ago, it was fixed with 4 new injectors on pass side.

What I have done:
*Re-torqued spark plugs
*replaced & checked vacuum & EVAP lines
* performed resistance check on EVAP purge valve
* removed fuel rail to perform leak test= no leaks w/key on
* removed fuel rail & injectors, cleaned injector seats in manifold & replaced injector O-rings

What I'm doing next:

*Re-re-tourqing spark plugs
*Replacing Injectors (8)
I had it into dealer a month ago for an injector test which they say it passed the flow test. I'm still within the injector 2005 ext warranty but don't want to risk a $145 diagnostic fee for injectors they say are ok, so I'm just going to replace them all on my dime.

Any suggestions welcome, thanks.

Just occurred to me the verdigris I saw on fuel rail may actually be a pin hole leak? How corrosive is fuel on the nickel plated copper fuel rail?

My fuel line was leaking right behind the collar where the fuel line went in. I thought it was a bad o-ring, since I had just replaced the engine. The leak was so tiny, yet so smelly it took two days to find. I was just looking in the wrong place.

How did you find that? was it 'wet' ?

edit; just ran my hands over/around all fuel lines/rails I could reach, all seem dry.

The only way I found it was to run the truck for a bit, then run my fingers around the collar. Where that safety clip attached was a fishnet type coil around the fuel supply side. I finally found a small drop there, which I erroneously thought was a bad o-ring. After replacing it, I could still smell fuel when driving. It didn't take long after shutting the engine off for the fuel to evaporate. Never smelled it before starting when the truck set overnight. Wouldn't smell fuel either for the first 3-4 miles.

Bought the new fuel line from my local Ford Dealer for $208.56 tax included. They are real proud of that fuel line.

Fuel lines seem good, no leaks. Any other ideas before I pull trigger on new injectors?

Just occurred to me the verdigris I saw on fuel rail may actually be a pin hole leak? How corrosive is fuel on the nickel plated copper fuel rail? It was on the soldered joint...

I have had gas smell in my truck for well over a year and a half. It all started when I got my plugs changed and had a misfire on number 7 coil or something don't really remember. They had the fuel rail off. Took it back like 6 months later and they said they couldn't find anything. I don't think they looked. Been scared to take it somewhere else and see what the cost would be to fix if they can even find it.

That could be needing a re torquing on the plugs.

Ordering New Fuel Rail this week. After that, I don't know what will happen...
