best gas, highest btu

Which gas out there has the highest btu rating? I always buy mobil or bp... J/w which one is the best out there.

I was talking to Mike Troyer at his shop a while back.. he said that they tested different brands and Citgo and Sunoco had the highest BTU rattings.

Best I recall, he said that BP gas was one of the lowest.

He recommended Citgo, Sunoco, or Shell gasoline.

I've tried searching it on the internet.. got nothing really.

I get best mileage with shell here, but gas quality varies across the country even with the same brand.

In my truck i use mainly Hess or the grocery store brand, but in the stang i use Sunoco 104.

I only burn Shell or Citgo per mikes recommendations, however I do burn from a station called Sphinx in sc that sells 95 octane when I drive through there

alot of these station's gas is hotter which leads to less gas mileage and big profits for them....because it's not cool'd enough at local refiners

Ive had good luck with Citgo lately my truck gets better mpg from it than Kroger or Wal-Mart gas it seems.

Shell here got better than Exxon, racetrac, wallyworld, raceway, that's about it.

I use Shell and Chevron and have found both to perform very well compared to the other brands...

I use Kroger gas, I get better mileage out of it than I do with Keystop and Murphy USA Gas.
