Will most likely be able to raise the front instead of lowering the rear in my opinion. Is your truck 2wd or 4wd? If it's 4wd, you can find any number of posts/replies on cranking the torsion bars; which is what I had done to mine to raise the front and level the truck. Not sure on what to do about raising the front for a 2wd.

isaidme,
If your truck is a 2wd, it will be much easier to drop the rear with a set of 2" drop shackles. I haven't done it on my S'Crew, I'm thinking of airbags on all 4 corners, but I did do it on my 98 and liked the look.
They are soooooo easy to install, you can do it yourself in just a couple of hours.
Good luck.

isaidme,
Just as 2fords stated, the standard way to level the bottom of your truck is to change your stock shackles for aftermarket 2 inch drop shackles (most aftermarket can be adjusted for a 1 or 2 inch drop).
In the tech. section of this site, there is a link to a member whom documented the install of the shackles with pictures.
Be safe, the leafsprings are under tension. But, if you use a jack and jack stands to relieve the tension it is relatively easy. You have only two bolts per side to deal with. TO be safe, you should really have another person helping. Good luck.
