Updated Suspension Purchase!!!

OK, I finally decided to change my order. I am now getting the Pro Comp Stage 2 with the coilovers!!! I decided the extra $400.00 was worth the upgrade from the Superlift I originally had ordered. I just got lucky that my order hadn't shipped yet, so I was able to call and change it before they shipped.

This will give me a true 6" of lift with 2" additional lift if I crank the coilovers correct?

Thanks to all that responded to all of my other posts when I was looking for opinions of the Superlift and the Pro Comp Stage 2.

you will get about 7.5" with them cranked. Budget now for an AAL. You might want to think about looking at 37's as well

Pat, mine were a little over 6" uncranked, closer to 7" in fact. Jacob said i can get 8" cranked, but op, yes, seriously consider 37s now. get a shim kit, bigger block , or aal, bc you will have some rear end sag.

Thanks for all the replies. I can't wait to see it up in the air either!

I have already discussed adding the AAL with KansasJoe at GeneralSpringKC. They are going to install the lift for me and are just waiting for the parts to get in so I can drop it off as soon as they get here. They are going to install the lift (cranked coilovers), add an AAL to ensure it is even, cut, extend and balance the front driveshaft to ensure it is perfect and align the front end for me.

Unfortunately, I have already ordered the tires and frankly my wife would kill me if I spent another $400.00-$500.00 on 37's...I will just wait and when these wear out I will move up to the 37's.

I think the truck will still look great with the 35's , and by the time the novelty of finally having the truck lifted wears off it will be time for new tires anyway.

As soon as the parts arrive I will start the picture parade. Thanks again for the invaluable advice from everyone in here that took the time to provide comments/advice on the lift.

Alright, then to figure out the truth, I need someone preferably with an 06 fx4 to measure from the bottom of the tire to the bottom of the fender flare in the front of the truck. Would there be any other variables that should be taken into consideration?

8" is going to be easy with cranked coilovers, what's the debate here?

I can't wait to see some pictures of this beast !!

didnt think the mx6 coilovers gave 2 full inches of "cranking" lift. I'll go look at what I have left on the collar at lunch.

I wouldn't think they are any different than the Dirt Logics.

All right, I stand corrected. I've got about half an inch left on mine.

8 inches definitely. Now that I think about it, my rear sits up a little more than the front and Ive got almost 8 inches of lift crammed in the rear.

Thump, you didnt call my truck a beast when I got it lifted and i've got the same setup

Wheres the love?

Sweet, so I will definitely have 8" of lift when it is complete!

SO, should I just leave it at 6" for now while I am running the 35" tires? Then when these tires wear out go back and have the AAL put in and crank the coilovers?

Or will the truck look just as good sitting at 8" and the 35's for now?

Gator, are your Coilovers cranked already?

Silver, don't hate the love man! Your truck is a beast as well!!! LOL! You just need bigger tires as well...those are a little over 34" correct?
