Have any pictures of your setup?
I'm looking into going to a leaf spring/ladder bar setup. I still want the towing capacity, but a little better hook up when launching.
Hell i might even go bags in the rear.. The ridetech Air-Ride setup looks tempting.

That's what I'm considering, either a triangulated 4 link, or parallel with a watts link. Move the instant center further back for greater hook up.

absolutely another vote for watts link. I've got some pictures of different setups if you'd like. the panhard bar just pushes the axle WAY too far over.
and yes, i could agree my setup is exotic...
Our trucks can't handle a triangulated 4 bar setup, theres just not enough room.
this is all the room you have to work with up top

over the fuel tank? that was an original i cut out. i really don't think they needed 31 and a half crossmembers in 6 feet of frame.
for what it's worth, i added a crossmember right behind the cab to make up the difference. if there even is a difference.
you may be able to run a triangulated link from that crossmember, but it's tight.

Thanks thats what I wanted to know. Using that crossmember over the tank with small upper links like on a Mustang rear could work. Thinking of possibly a mounting plate to mount between the diff and cover with the mounting points on top to have the upper links go from the center towards the outer edge, maybe even use a Mustang adjustable upper.
