Raleigh, N.C....

Hey guys! I currently live in Tampa, but my g.f. has been applying to jobs in Raleigh Durham area. When she does land a job, i will be following her up there. I design hvac systems and plumbing for commercial buildings. Anyone know of any good firms up there? I have 14 years experiance, and am AutoCAD fluent.

What are some good areas to look at for housing? I know it will depend on where she gets a job. She is curently looking at the Marbles Childrens Museum in downtown. She has a masters in Biology, and loves working with childrens programs...

Can't wait to get out of Florida and the blazing heat 8 months out of the year!

Hey man, I've lived in Raleigh for the past 15 years. Gimme a PM and I can fill you in on the area.

Don't expect too much relief from the heat... Right now the forecast is calling for mid 90's with 60%+ humidity for at least the next 2 weeks

I'm in the Raleigh/Cary area as well.

If you have any question let me know as well.

Regards,

Justin

You may want to look in the wake forest/youngsville, or knightdale area for a house (prices are a lot better than cary/north raleigh IMHO)...

Hey, this could be a decent place to organize a Triangle Area Meet if anyone is interested....

(Just giving Cary a hard time, the only time I've been pulled and given a ticket was in Cary. It is pretty, but way pricey)

Cary is ok.

Just depends on where you go.

I'm up for a meeting. I don't have the F150 anymore.

lol, that about sums it up (at least, in the opinion of this countryfied carpetbagger), that's why I like living up in wake forest; housing prices are cheaper, much quieter, and less yuppies...
