2.7 SC Sport with 3.31s on stock 18's **MPG**
Took a trip down to Key West with my 2015 2.7 Supercrew XLT Sport 3.31 gearing and stock 18's running on 87 pump gas. I ran her from 40mph to 70mph and up to a couple of 90+mph on the passing lanes. I managed to get 30 mpg!!!! That is freaking amazing for a full size truck loaded with 3 adults! Good job FORD!

One tank my display showed my truck getting 28 mpg but it was really 20.6.

I'm skeptical. Especially in the summer time here in Florida. Best mileage I got was a long trip from Tampa to Ft. Lauderdale in the winter. Empty, cruise set at 75, got 24.5.
I will get 21 or so in the summer time.
The 2.7 is going to have to work harder than my 5.0 running the air conditioner, and with 3 adults, what do you all weigh 100 pounds?
I am very skeptical... plus that's only after 4 gallons.

Outside of some desolate places in fly-over states, where can you drive 50mph without being in someone's way?? I mean, non-interstate driving.
Real world driving conditions (70-80mph), you aren't getting that kind of mileage

I just got a 2016 XLT SuperCrew Sport 4x4 2.7 Eco 3.55 gears and have run through 2 tanks of gas. I'm at 4,400 feet elevation, temps in the 70s half city/hwy and I've averaged 430 miles per 21.5 gal fill up. Right about 20mpg total. I'll be moving to FL and doing much more hwy driving so I hope for a slight increase but 20mpg isnt bad overall IMO.
