I have a damaged 8' long bed on my 2000 F150 and have access to a undamaged 6.5' bed can I replaced the damaged bed with the one I have available?

 

My 2000 did the same thing and found blown fuse in the fuse box in the engine compartment replaced it an all worked again,

New and still learning where to post questions. Not real computer smart. My question is can I replace the bed fron a 1997 F150 2wd to a 2003 F150 4 x4? are the wire harnesses a match?
Again if I've posted this in the incorrect area please advise this ole man as to where I should go ! Man I left that wide open....
