NewTSB on spark plug removal
TSB 08-7-6 is out now for the 5.4 and 4.6 3v spark plug removal repair....basically the same however there are new procedures for getting the broken ones out....dealers should have received the new tool kits this week, we got ours on monday and as luck would have it I have a 06 F150 with four plugs that are broken
I took some pictures of the broken ones but need someone to host them if anyone wants to see........I got all three different kinds of breakage out of one motor....
I also heard through the grapevine that a new head design is being implemented mid 08 production year going back to a traditional plug design....We'll know if it's true soon enough.......

Anybody heard of a new TSB from Ford recommending not to leave the plugs in for more than 25k without pulling/inspecting them. I was talking with a guy at the Brisk office concerning the Brisk one piece plugs and he said there's a new TSB on this. I can't find one and my dealers don't know anything about it(hell, they are saying to still wait 100k before breaking, I mean, checking them). The Brisk website now said they have two different heat ranges for the 5.4 3v engine for the truck, not just the mustang and say it's a 50k plug. He said he gets call after call after call about people breaking these plugs off and wanting an alternative.
