Finally got her driving again!

So, I set out to do a solid axle swap about a month ago. Needless to say, when I tore it apart, I decided to go a little further and really get my truck where I wanted it. So, I figured i'd post up some pics of my journey through the whole thing and how it sits now!

This was the day I bought it, and got it home! Had crap red interior, some bald 31x10.50's, among other things that had to go!

This was after getting a stock grill I painted white for free, a level, and new 33x12.50's put on.

Then, I scored a 79 f-150 4x4 rolling frame with both axles, and almost everything I needed to do the swap. So, I rebuilt the axle, and started ordering parts. Finally got the axle in, made my own track bar, and steering set-up!

Then I decided I didn't like the face of it, so I bought a new header panel, factory grill, new headlights, hid's, new stone deflector, and relocated the power steering cooler to the front. This is how the truck now sits, on 5" of lift, 33x12.50's, and factory aluminum wheels. I peeled off all the factory vinyl stickers, and i'm really happy with the outcome, and will be glad to be rollin around in this thing again!

The end result after this whole ordeal!

I forgot to mention! I'll be at Jamboree in Indianapolis this year too! So, if there's any other members from here going, holler at me, i'd love to meet up with some other Ford people!

That's a clean *** truck! Looks great

Did you end up paying more to change it than you paid for the truck in the first place? Haha
