4"x4" PT 12" square. 4x4's are rated for 4k per contact point. Plenty sturdy with the 6ton stands on top.

It appears you ARE following this, but just in case...
I think he was referring to the wonky legs on that big truss under the front bumper. I agree - I think you'd be much safer with jack stands under the front doors. It looks tippy, but your truck is longer than mine, and mine was rock-solid that way.
It's apparent that you're not fond of that TTB, but it's worth a few bucks. If you can stash it somewhere for a year or so, you should be able to find a buyer.

That is exactly what I was referring to. I think that SAS is going to be sweet!

Today we were unable to get the axle hung due to a big setback. The Cage radius arms i paid almost a grand for had weld splatter on the inside of the threads on the radius arm caps. We didn't notice till it stripped the first hole due to the weld splatter. I have to call Cage tomorrow and see about getting new caps before this coming weekend. If it wasn't for the poor craftsmanship the truck would of been on it's own weight today and the steering would of been done for next weekend. That is part of working on trucks though. Onto the pics.
Steve, thanks! Were using all 1/2" grade 8 hardware with nyloc nuts.

So...while we're waiting for parts. What are the final plans?? Amount of lift, tires, gears? What's the truck going to be used for?
One of the first posts that i read when i found this site had pics of this truck...which is pretty similar to mine and it mentioned the SAS, so i've been wating for this thread for a while.
