Does anybody know if 35 x 12.5 x 15 tires will fit on the stock 15 x 8 F150 aluminum wheels?

Every manufacturer specifies a rim width range of 8.5-11 for those tires. Don't think that "it's only half an inch less." It's a half inch under the absolute safe minimum. You need either wider rims or narrower tires. 33x10.50-15 would work fine with 8" rims.

Just for the record, the factory Ford wheels are 7.5" wide. That being said, you can run a 12.50" wide tire on them just fine.

Not according to the tire manufacturers, but what do they know?

Usually the general rule i've always seen is the rim should be about 2 inch's skinnier than the tire. A 12.5 tire on a 8 inch rim is pushing it a little. i have 35x12.5x15 on a set of American Racing 15x10's and they look sweet. might just be safer to spend another couple hundred on a set of rims
