alternator

okay so i have this feeling my alternator only works part of the time, sometimes i get into my truck and the battery guage reads normal and others extremely low(and its harder to start the truck) and its been readign low lately so i checked the voltage and its 11.35-11.4 volts could this mean my alternator is screwed?

idk if they sell reman ho alts. i dont buy reman stuff unless its all that is available because you never know what a reman is. whether its just the part that failed or if the whole thing was rebuilt. plus you could get a reman sometimes and have half a advance auto alt. and half autozone alt. you never know. just something to think about.

well i am also 17 so thats not a very good excuse. just kidden. there is still a warranty on a reman so i guess its alright. but i dont think anyone really makes a ho reman alt. but you could go bigger i guess. but you'd probably be changing your bracket for that.
