I don't know of any "public" places. A lot of pasadena used to go to Coca Cola Drive, but it got really shady with police and what not. If you find something let me know!

Really? I live close to Marley Neck. Have you guys had any problems with other people being out there? My truck is stock with 4x4. Would I run into any trouble spots that I should have a lift or bigger more aggressive tires for?

I've been back through the Marley Neck trails quite a few times in my buddy's jeep. I wouldn't take your 09' F-150 back there, but that's just me. The initial trail to get back there is pretty tight, so expect a few nice scratches . Also, some A-holes like to use that place for a landfill. I've seen all kinds of crap dumped back there, especially construction materials with nails, screws, etc. I don't think the risk is worth it at Marley Neck, both for the legality (AA County police patrol that area often) of it all and the risk for damage to your truck. My buddy's jeep was a 98' Cherokee which he didn't care about, it was a beater and we treated it as such.

We also used to go to this place in Odenton off of Patuxent road. I think it was know to the locals as "Yellow Gates" or at least that's what I was always told it was. But again, it was tough to get back there initially. There was a steep hill you had to climb and it dropped off immediately on the other side. I'd imagine a long wheel base truck would possibly bottom out and teeter on the hill . We used to have a lot of fun back there in that ole' 98' Jeep though!

Good info Chris....Thanks a lot. I wish there would be a 4x4 park built in MD somewhere. I just want to get a little muddy.

You have to go to the end of Conway Rd where the curch is and either hope the fence is open or try to squeze between some trees. There are alot of other place to go (illegal to go obviousley) in this area but my truck has been retired from off road use unless needed.
