Gen 3 anyone

A few weeks back there was a mini car show in front of my office. Along with the Army NHRA drag team I saw this:

with this price tag

It was a dealer package. I talk with the owner for a few minutes and he says he builds them to the concepts specs. It is nice looking in person but what a price tag.

That there is funny. I wished I would have caught that when I was talking to the owner of the dealership.

Talking

I just love that gap between the hood and above the right headlight, stylin'..lol. No seriously, best looking design for the Gen III yet, I like the looks of it (for the square body style/new Lightning). They'd have a sale if it was an official SVT Lightning with the official SVT pricing, lol. $60 G's they can suck my crank.

No really, except that nice gap in the hood, lol, this is gotta be the first sport truck with the new body design I like the looks of. If ford came out with an official SVT Lightning next year that looked just like this, I'll take one, otherwise Ford continues to lose new vehicle sales to used vehicles to me.

...builds to the concept specs. Yeah right! Independant rear, 6 speed Tremec, Supercooler 5.4 twin screw.

So many pretenders but there are only 2 Lightnings-Gen 1 and Gen 2.

Long live the bolt!

but as for the hood i just think it's popped, like they were looking at the engine and didnt slam it shut again.

Is the grill attached to the hood on those trucks? Something really funky there with the alignment of the grill and hood.

the entire grille goes up with the hood when its opened, so the hood is still popped and not shut all the way, thats why there is the gap between the hood and headlights
