The Lobo badge, in case you didn't know, is for the trucks manufactured in Mexico. The ones that I have seen don't have the HD emblem attached all in one piece. If you can fab one up and creat a single piece (as I am sure they did) then you got what is in that pic.

The Lobo badge is really popular with the guys running around Southern Cali

 

I like the cute little stripe hes got going on there .

 

Ford do NOT make any f150 in Mexico

the F150 sold in Mexico as a Lobo it's made in Kansas City plant

I got a 2008 Lobo sold in a mexican Ford dealer and the truck came
from Kansas City plant

and u r right if it is a F150 sold in the mexican market (don't built)
it has to have the Lobo badge instead of the F150 badge..

by the way just in case u don't know in Mexico u can buy a brand new
F150 model 2003 (before redesign 04-08) cero miles from a Ford dealer
labeled 2009 year model..

I know! I feel u! if u want a mexican 2008 F150 it's called Lobo
if u want a mexican 2008 F150 (US old design 2003) it's called F150

 

so.. if u feel nostalgic about a F150 2003 and u can't find it used in a good shape in the US..

come down to Mexico and get a brand new 2009 F150 (US 2003 model type)

with the NAFTA u can imported it to the US and Can with no problema

every "lobo" ive ever seen has had chrome everywhere and a hecho em mexico or LA sticker in the rear window.

 

I thought we couldnt bring them here due to different saftey regulations.


Check the ford mexico website But IIRC they only make the V6s down there still

I'll let you guys in on a little secret. The guys are the ford plane in KC had been stealing these emblems. This is why you used to see them on ebay, and swap meets around KC.

I saw them go for $500 a pop. But they are long gone now.
