**URGENT**Need advice on a Skunk issue

The wife just ran in the house and said "Houston, we have a problem!!!" A skunk somehow got under the deck. I have chicken wire wrapped around it but somehow the little guy got through it. The skunk is trying to get out but can't. I'm not sure what to do!!!!! Advice

use alot of moth ***** he will find his way out if you open a section of the chicken wire

if you have to use piece of conduit and roll them into to back / corners

Open the chicken wire while he's under there? Sounds a little risky! Does moth ***** prevent them from wondering into areas you don't want them? He's still under there.

Just get him, and hit him in the neck like Chuck Norris did that Grizzly.

Make sure to give him something to exit, sit out some dog food or cat food maybe even some beans. You want something that will make a nice smell to get him rolling the right direction. Put it close enough to the openin u make to get him out of the situation go in the house and keep a eye out threw front door or window or something..

O.K., I threw some cat food out there. He seems to be doing some squeaking or something.

"Take a broom and start pokin'"...yeah I'll get right on that. Thanks shaunakadub

I'd open a can of tuna about 10 feet away from where he made his way in and leave it there.

Meh, I'd shoot him too. Bring on the PETA complaints!

Just don't corner the bugger, if it feels trapped, it's gonna let loose!

You guys are funny! try something that will have more of a smell as well man. Do not shoot the thing it will release the gas if it hits the wrong area or shears off some bone into the sack.

if that dont work start playing some Miley Cyrus next to a open window near the deck he will get the hell out for sure then.

Small problem by shooting him, the only gun I have is a 1187. I'm not sure that's going to go over to well w/the neighbors.

If he sprays I might have to.

I just threw a piece of steak fat out there. I hope I don't attract his buddies.

If he sprays under there, just dump some rotten milk on the deck and let it dry into the wood. That's a smell that'll hang around for a while! You'll forget all about the skunk.

shoot him in the head and it wont spray. thats the only way ive ever killed a skunk. i wouldnt even mess with it though unless you are going to shoot it. more likely than not, he will spray you. just open the chicken wire and he will find his way out.

Personally I would just shoot it, ive gotten rid of raccoons in the neighborhood many of times that the animal control, that they neighbors called couldn't trap it because it wouldn't take the bait in his traps because it would just eat out the garbage can right next to it lol. I just walk out the house with the spot light and take care of them, then get a cop rolling through the neighborhood a half hour later cause of a alleged gun shots and then I would go out and bs with the cop about whys he is in the neighborhood lol
