Thanks...definitely a nice ride on a beautiful day. Seafood and oil industries meet at the Gulf. Sometimes with not great results.

Good mileage coy. I don't think I'd get that at sustained 80+

Yea but i didn't do that until the last 100 miles.. I had 250+ miles cruising at 68 to 70 which is why it was showing the 21.8.. It slowly went down after kicking it up to 85.

80+ mph for a whole tank would usually get me around 14.5 to 15mph

Got my tax return. Thinking about joining the Cavalier club. Just rolled over 36k on the truck and I'm tired of racking up so many miles!

Thanks...one of those perfect days to get out and ride. I was surprised at all the snowbirds down here in South Louisiana. One old guy from Iowa was in shorts and a tee shirt and was as red as a boiled crawfish!

That's a lot of miles on your truck. Almost have 12K on mine in a year.

C'mon in -- the water's great!

In the past two weeks I have put 847.8 miles on my Cavalier and averaged 30.23 mpg. All of those miles were for business, meaning I will be reimbursed at the current IRS rate of 57.5-cents per mile. Subtracting out my gas cost of $49.77 nets me $437.72 that goes directly into my "toy fund". This two week window is very typical of what I experience during a normal work period, so you can see how that mileage money can start adding up over the course of 3-4 years.....

Gravy on the top of all of this -- every single one of the miles listed above are miles that didn't go on one of my other vehicles.....
