AirBag Fault Code 19
I am getting an LFC 19 on my 2004 F150. I found this chart for a 2006 an I'm not sure if it is the same for an '04.
19 talks about a--- "Restraint System - Air Bag Fault" (Driver Front Air Bag Circuit Fault)
How does that translate into English ?
How can I troubleshoot this problem ?
Nothing has happened to the truck and nothing on the dash or any electrical components have been touched.
Thanks for your help.

dumb question, are you sure it is a 19, not another code ?
18 is common, when you turn the key from off to run, does the PAD ( Passenger Airbag Deactivation ) light illuminate ?
42 is also somewhat common, but the numbers do not line up ( hard to mistake 9 or 10 total flashes with 6 total flashes ).

2008 F-150 Code 19
I have a 2008 F-150 with an airbag code 19, it started a couple of months after a local dealer activated a Cruise Control in it.
I really don’t know if the problem could be related to the activation, but I took it back to be checked out and I was told that the clock spring was bad and it will cost me $775.00 to replace it.
Now, from what I found out, if the clock spring is defective, then the horn, turn signals, CC, and almost any electric component on the steering wheel will have some issues or don’t work at all. All of that is working without any problems, is that possible? Can someone give me a little more info, I’m having second guesses about the diagnostics. Thanks
