5 Star tunes
I am going to take advantage of 5 Star tunings Labour Day sale and purchase 3 tunes for $150, Now I just have to figure out which tunes I want.
I have a 2011 5.0 4 door long box with 3.73's, truck is all stock, I drive normal and don't horse around to often, but I do like speed.
I tow light loads occasionally and take long road trips often...
Any advice?

I run a modified (slightly lowered transmission shift points do better work in traffic) 5* 87tow/perf tune in my 2009 5.4. It runs like a top and the transmission shifts so much nicer(same 6r80 transmission as your 2011). I would suggest the 87perf/tow, 89perf/tow and 91 perf. Keeping your foot light in any of them will actually produce better MPG than stock...again, if you can keep your foot out of it.

I made the biggest mistake ever when I did mine and got all the 87 octane tunes. Does anyone actually go to the economy once they've used the performance ones? I should have and have debated getting a single 93 performance one to test out on my 2010 with the 5.4. Just hard to swallow paying the extra for the gas. I know once I try it, I wouldn't want to go back.

Yea, With my 5star tunes I got 87 eco, 87 perf/tow, 91 perf.. I ran the 87 perf/tow for 2 tanks then switched to the 91 performance and havent looked back.. I havent even loaded the 87 eco, but some report 1.5 to 2mpg's better on a highway run
About 4 months ago i got 3 more tunes from MPT and went with the 87 tow, 91 performance and 93 performance and we dont even have 93 around here, the closest station is about 150 miles away. But figured on a trip i could fill up with 93.. Have heard the 93 tunes are simply badass

I've only ever loaded my 87 performance tune from vmptuning. Using 87 in colorado it is great. I threw 91 in it a few times and my scangauge registered about a 5 hp difference. That's not all octane tho but at 6000ft my trucks scangauge2 is registering 195 to 201hp. That's on my v6 with cold air intake and 87 performance tune. Today with 87 octane in it, it registered 196hp. 6000ft is supposed to be about a 18% power loss.... stock is 202hp on my truck so mine isn't losing the 18% thankfully.
