Amp recommendations

I am looking at adding system to my 06 f150 supercab. I already installed pioneer double din head unit, JL audio coaxial door speakers, I like the look and design of the JL audio stealthbox. I am wondering what amp would you guys recommend for the set up?

here is the specs
Stealthbox® custom-fit subwoofer
ported fiberglass enclosure
10" 2-ohm W3v3 subwoofer
fits under the rear seat on the driver side.
power handling: 100-500 watts RMS (1,000 watts peak power)

What's your budget? And size constraints?

not really a budget, the amp or amps need to fit behind the rear seat of a supercab

The alpine mrp-500 (or something like that) would be a good choice it does 500 rms at 2ohms and isn't very big.

Pizzzaman is right that's a great lil amp !! I ran a 500 back a few months ago. And I now run 4 Mrp V powered Amps 2x 300 bridged at 150 each for front and rear fill. And 2x 1000 at 2 ohms for 3 x 12'' type r subs newer models .I Have used them since 2007 and never gave me any grief at all .You can pick up the amps on ebay cheap all day long too new and used.

It'd be the same as an alpine, kicker, rockford fosgate, etc. amp just with a pretty hefty price tag for the JL name on it, but the JL fanboys will buy it..

Why are you recommending a 5-channel just to run the sub?

06 f150 supercab > Sweeeet !

But WTF does one need back seats in a truck for ? I'm never short of a seat. Mine is "always" the one on the front left side LOL

Supercabs were made specifically for big / multiple subwoofers ! You must have missed that memo

I LOVE my 5 ch RF Power 1000, but it's not made anymore They have actually came out with a new one, almost as powerful, but smaller, and cheaper. You can find it on the RF website. I'm sure it would be a fantastic amp for your situation.

Peace,
Fish
