Bolt on 4-link for Pre-97 F-150s??? Or alternative?
Hey guys. I am looking for a bolt on 4 link kit for a 1995 F-150. I haven't been able to find one. I don't want to go ladder bars, as they mess with pinion angle to much during the drop. Anyone know of a 4 link kit???? Thanks.

Hey Jason.
Airride make a bolt in 4 link kit for the late model trucks, except it is for use with an air suspension system. Altho, im sure they can do something with coil overs.
Their site is http://www.airride.com
The kit is expensive tho, about 1300 complete. Maybe they can do somthing with the older trucks. I think ur best bet is to have one fabed. Most everything bolt on is too expensive.

Cpt: You're the man I was looking for. I'm looking to bag the truck all the way around. My goal is to be able to lay frame.. just like your F-150. I'm doing a tub in the bed.. hope I can get away with a huge c-notch, and not have to mess with the frame rails too much. One thing I wanted to ask you, what happened to your inner fenderwells up front? I'm dropped 3/5 right now... and if I want to lay frame I'm gonna have to move or remove them.

Ur fenderwells depend on what size tire u are gonna run.. Mine are completely gone.. Alsong with my windsheild washer tank, and everything else that was on the fenderwell was moved. My tires are about 2 inches from the hood. Bagging the 95's are harder than mine cause u have I beams. It is still doable tho. If u want to lay frame, i think with 18's or less, u will be ok with the stock fenderwells, but again im not really familiar with the pre 97s. When i was laying frame,, i needed about 1-2 inches more room from the fenderwells. Now with the body drop its not even close. As far as the frame goes, again depends on tire size. If u are going with big drag tires,, definatly a step notch is needed.. With 18s or 17s w/ lo pros, a C should be ok.
Wish i could help more,, but i really dont know alot about the earlier models.
If you want i can shoot you some pictures of inside the engin bay. Just let me know.

Cpt: I'm looking at doing 18's. 18x8s in front, 18x10s or so in the rear. I really like those new Centerline Galaxy's.... but those Boyd Coddington Timeless 6s are AWFUL nice too.... it's so hard to chose.

Well, im in LA, Cali so we dont get alot of rain. Plus the truck isnt a daily driver so it will prolly never see the rain.. But if u have no fenderwells and it rains, ull have a big ol' mess in the engin compartment. U might be ok with 18s,, u can measure it out and see. If u drive in the rain i would suggest highly against it.
