2000 f150 rear wheel bearing and seal?
Ok new to Fords all together. I purchased a used 2000 f150 extended cab 4x4 truck. I have only had it for 2 weeks. I crawled under it and noticed a leak on the rear passanger side wheel. This has rear disks so its the rear wheel seal. So did some searching in the repair manual and here and decided to do it myself. Well I tore it down tonight and went to the parts store. I asked for the seal and bearing. He got the seal and looks the same. Then he gave me the bearing and it is no where near the same? I took it home and looked inside the axle tube at the bearing in there and it is just a single bearing. What the parts store gave me was a replacement repair bearing and seal assembly made by Moog?
Do I need this? Will this work or do i just search for the original bearing? I know from research that this is to repair worn axle shafts but mine seems good? It looks like a better set up then the original.
Looking for any help from anyone that has done this!!!
Thanks, Oh and yes I am loving my Ford so far

Dont go aftermarket on the bearings and seals, I would only use motorcraft anything on the rear axle. Your just asking for trouble if you go aftermarket on the bearings, seals, and oils that go in there. Save yourself a headache and get them from ford. If you have a buddy that has a shop they can give you the wholesale price with his permission.

Thanks for the help guys. I ended up just going to the Ford dealer and picking their brain on it. I ended up getting the original bearing and seal from them. Also yes there is confusion on this axle. It is the 9.75rear axle and it uses the 8.8 bearings and seals. So i feel better after talking to the Ford guy who cleared up the confusion. I finished up installing the bearings and took it for a drive. So far so good. I will just keep a eye on it.
Thanks guys,

Yes. Bought the 9.75 because that is what's printed on the axle...took everything apart and now I have to exchange them for the 8.8.
