Need input on Bak Flip tonneau covers
Supposedly the new truck is getting deliver today. I need to get a tonneau cover on it. I want something more secure than the roll ups I've used in the past. I like their ability to be rolled up for when I need an open bed. I'm intrigued by the Bak Flip but I keep reading negative reviews on leaks and the need to drill for drain tubes. So let me hear it, the good, the bad, the ugly and other suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

I've had two BakFlip covers, an F1 for 8yrs on my 07 Tacoma and the VP I have on Ruby. No problems with either. I installed the drain hoses on the F1. I haven't installed the drain hoses on the VP. My box stays mostly dry, no leaks along the sides or front. Does leak a small amount at the tail gate but not a biggy to me.

My '09 SuperCrew 6.5' came with a G2 and I loved it right up until I switched to a canopy recently.
The only time I had minor water intrusion was when the drain channels in the side rails got clogged with pine needles and/or dirt. A quick blast down the rails with a hose nozzle on "jet" and it was fine.
