I think the correct term is jump seat. Basically a middle seat in the front row where the center console is located. My dad had an older f150 model with this and I thought it was pretty cool to have. A friend of mine has it on his F150 from 2 models ago. I'm waiting for this truck and would like to get it as well.

 

I think it's called a 60/40 split bench. No idea if they'll offer it, but I believe a jump seat would be a scab seat that folds up behind the drivers seat.

 

It's a jump seat, and the setup is called a 40/20/40 (two full seats and a half seat). 60/40 is the split bench rear seat in the back of a scab/screw.

And I'm pretty sure they'll offer it that way, because I can't see Ford selling an XL with a center console......

 

My 97 had a 60/40 front bench seat with the fold up console that made the middle seat.

The pass side was the '60' part and included the folding console.

Current truck has the buckets and center console, but I like it...

My '99 F-150 had the middle seat and it was great. My '13 F-150 had the middle seat but it was a monstrous obstruction that I removed and it currently resides on my garage floor. Yay. By any chance would you know which f150 that is? I'm hoping it can be an option on the Lariat.

Edit: Nvm just saw it's an XLT in the pics. But still hoping a higher trim would have the bench seat.

edit 2: probably not I just looked at the 14 models and I think it only goes up to XLT. Oh well.

 

I'm sure you will still be able to get the 40/20/40 on a Lariat. I'm pretty sure you can today in the '14, it's just that most people opt for the buckets.

 

No doubt the XL and XLT will have the 40/20/40. Put a console in an XL, lol... some of you must not work with your trucks
