New member with a new (to me) truck

Hey guys just bought a 2010 F-150 xlt screw 4x4 and I'm looking for advice and ideas. It's royal red metallic, bone stock and it's got the 5.4.

I'll post pics soon, thanks

Here it is.

Thanks here's my list.

Daystar 2" leveling kit
Led dome lights
Bull bar up front with lights
Stainless steel exhaust tip
Led head and tail lights, I don't intend on going too crazy with it, but I would appreciate it if some other royal red guys could give me some ideas.

Just went to 4wheel parts to get a price on a leveling kit, the guy wanted $580 for just 2" daystar level with installation. That sounds pretty unreasonable considering I've seen these kits sell for $120.

Find a local shop to install it. I got mine installed for $100. Be careful with this though; the 2" kit actually lifts the truck approximately 2.5", which is why I went with the 1.5" so the lift would actually net 2" and keep the truck level.

Painted handles and mirror caps really improve the looks of the trucks

I'm thinking of getting the chrome mirror caps, not the whole mirror, but just the top half. I'm also considering buying the .5 chrome side moldings as well that the platinum has, I think that would look nice.

Thanks, I knew 4wheel parts was asking too much.

I've heard you need to have the truck realigned after installing a leveling kit, is that true?

Yep, that's correct. Alignment is required after install.

Just bought chrome mirror caps, door handles (just the lever) and tailgate handle. I'll post pics once I get them on.

My led dome and map lights should come any day now, I'll post pics when I install them.

Anyone on here have led fog lights? I'm thinking about installing those, but I've heard they aren't as effective as halogen. I'm also concerned about brightness, I don't wanna b a jerk blinding people at night.

Did a few things since my last post, installed chrome mirror caps, door handles and exhaust tip.

Led map and some lights

Made the mirror reflectors functional turn signals.

Looks great! Was the reflector turn signal mod difficult? I want to do it badly, but I've seen a write up about it on here and it seems daunting.
