WIP 2012 S'Crew Build

I recently bought a 2012 F150 S'Crew with 5.0L V8 5.5 box and 4x4. I am planning on doing some work to it over time and figured I would start a thread for those interested in following my trucks progress.

Bare with me if I don't post pics of work often as I am finishing up school and transitioning into my full time position within the next few months.

Regardless I will be putting on my 20in wheels, tonneau cover, fender liners in the next couple days as I already have everything for this truck. Its been raining and my dad doesnt want to move his cummins out of the garage for me to do that haha.

Truck Specs:
2012 XLT Super Crew
5.0l V8
5.5ft Bed

Chrome Pkg (18" Chrome Wheels, 5in Tubular Chrome Running Boards, Chrome Door Handles, Chrome Billet Grille)
Convenience Pkg (Pwr pedals, Sync, Pwr mirrors, Pwr seat)
Trailer Tow Pkg
3.55 Electronic Locking axle
Keyless entry pad

My Current Mods:
Wheelskin Black and Sand Euro Wheel Cover
AVS Ventvisor

Future Mods:
20in Polished Al Wheels with Hankook Ventus A/S tires
Lund Tonneau cover
35% Front Window Tint
Ford Factory Mudflaps
Fender Liners
PTM Handle Buckets
PTM Mirror Covers
Borla ProXS exhaust
Spray in Bedliner
Remove 4x4/flexfuel/rodman decals

I'll be interested to watch the changes. Not too many 40/20/40 seats being sold in this area.

hey your right, we do have pretty much identical trucks!
It will be cool to see how we each go different directions with them in our modding......keep us updated.

Thanks Guys! I love having the 5.0 I am so stoked I was able to get this truck equipped like this.

I have a weird issue with Sync where it does not switch over to my ipod when it is plugged in to the USB slot. I can press the AUX button all day and it won't switch off Sync Line In. Anyone else run into this? I can get it to work by using the voice command and saying USB which I feel weird talking to the truck when I am sitting in it by myself.

Do people in general like using Sync? I have used the bluetooth (My big selling point) and the USB option for my ipod as I do not listen to the radio and I can have my cravenspeed stubby on the truck without interfering with the radio. So far it seems really good other than the AUX button not wanting to switch from "Sync line in" to "USB"

yea seems ppl either like it or hate it. I can't figure out why my AUX button doesn't switch to USB because the manual says that is how to do it. I like having the built in bluetooth as my last one didn't have that. I bought a Blueant S3 to do the job.

Had some time before I had to go work at the "fun factory" today and I took the chance to put some goodies on my truck.

Enjoy.

Oh and I figured out how to use the AUX button on the truck, it brings up the menu not switches to USB automatically.
