According to the Lie-ometer I lost about 1.2 mpgs in town .I haven't done any extended highway trips so I'm not sure about highway mpgs. Either way it's worth it for the look. It still gets more mpgs than my 06 5.4 3v did so I can live with the slight loss.

offset and backspacing are directly related to each other, google offset to backspacing chart and something should pop up to tell you backspacing to offset and visa versa.
Thanks. Yeah I understand offset and backspacing. I was more asking how much additional space he had before rubbing would start occurring. In other words, if he went to a 9" wheel with the same specs, would that 1/2" be a deal breaker and start creating problems. Or if you went to a 9" would you have to adjust the offset or backspacing value to make it fit. I've heard of most people either going 33's or 35's. The 34 is somewhat intriguing.

Awesome. Were you having any rubbing issues prior to the spacers or did you just do it for precautionary measures?

How about some more specs on your truck? A 2" kit will probably clear a 35 OK but 33's or 34's may be more practical. If your planning to use the stock wheels I would limit tire width to 12 inches because a 12.5 tire is close on the inside when turning. I just had my leveling kit installed this morning just across da bayou from you! I'm over in Lockport

here's my 2010 with a 2 1/2" leveling kit and 325/60/20 on the stock rims. 1/4" spacers all around, with very, very minor rubbing at full lock.

Uploaded the before and after pictures on my profile. Really like the look after the leveling kit was installed. Hate to say it but I need some pointers on how to upload pictures on the forum topics. Thanks

Those tires and leveling kit fit perfectly with your truck, NICE. What kind of leveling kit did you use and what brand are your tires??

Do you guys think 33s will fit with a 1-1/2" leveling kit on OEM wheels?

Is that only a 2 1/2" level up front? No additions to the rear? What brand?

Is this going on your truck? If not, still a 4x4? You could definitely fit 33's with a 1 1/2" level.

Yes, 33's will even fit without a leveling kit on 4x4 models. However, they will look a bit better with some level.

Yes, it's a FX4. I'd like to fit 35s but I know I'll probably need more of a lift. I don't want to lift the rear and my truck doesn't seem that unlevel.

What about a 34 inch tire, they ought to fit with a 1 1/2 or 2 inch level easily depending on the width of the tire.

What does that bring the height of your truck to. I want to do the same thing but want to make sure I can still fit in the garage door.

I'm not sure of the height but it fits in a garage with 7' doors.

For those that are running spacers, what brand do you have? My front tires are barely rubbing the upper control arms and I need to kick the tires out 1/4" or so.
