Does the 2007 have an oil temperature sensor?

I have a 2007 f-150 Fx4 5.4. I bought and installed edge evo CTS. It was telling me my engine oil temp was screaming hot 275F after 20 min. Havnt seen the temp since, displays ---. Does my truck even have one?

That can't be right. I am positive there is an oil temp sensor. I would think you'd go into limp mode if you were really running that hot. Something isn't right.

I have seen on here that some 07's have the oil temp and some do not. My 07 will not display oil temp.

So it depends if the model is first or second design?

I'm out of the Ford loop now, but I want to say Ford quit using EOT about midway through the 2007 model year.

Does it say anywhere what month your truck was built in? Or some other way of finding out.

build date is on the door jamb sticker, but its just as easy to peak underneath at the passenger side of the oil pan.
