Autospring 2.5"

I got my auto spring in the mail today. It was supposed to be the 2.5" but it measures 1.75" Also the suprts are angled instead of straight like on the website is this the right one?

I think thats the right one. I believe the way it works is that not only is the lift obtained from the longer coil but aldo due to the new angle of the lower and upper control arms in relation to the stock. Just because your spacer itself measures 1.75" wide does not at all mean thats the amount of lift you will get. As far as the supports, mine is also the same way and I believe thats autosprings new "design". Works great to me.

You got the right one for 2.5" lift and the angled offset is their new design, evidently there was some rubbing on some of the older styles.

Got the same kit 2.5" as you, and you will love it. Level you right out.

To be all honest I wonder why we need to go through this exercise to get our trucks level.

Should have been a design thing. Big major flaw by Ford in my opinion.

well sometimes when you tow something heavy, the back of the truck sags, or when you are carrying a load, so I guess ford was anticipating we would all be using are trucks for what they are supposed to be used for, ha silly ford engineers

Your 2.5" AS looks just like my 2.5", relax. My concern is I keep hearing that the 2.5" yeilds more than the advertised lift. It's one reason I haven't installed it yet. I'm afraid I'll be riding nose high with my 4x2. I don't like that look. For some reason I didn't see that stuff untill after I researched/ordered them about a month ago.

2.5" is not referring to the part.

It's referring to the resulting amount of lift.

The AS are
2''= 1-5/8s
2.5=1-3/4s

and the angle is so you have no contact with the spring. You are good. Your truck will look 100% better after the install.
